This air plant is known as the King of Air Plants. He is native to southern Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras. A very slow-growing plant, he exhibits silvery gray leaves that taper making it appear like a rosette. When he blooms, an amazing yellow and green spike will shoot out from the center.
Light :: grows best in bright, indirect light; within 3 feet of a window if indoors
Water :: completely drench once a week; allow to dry upside down for 4 hours
Temperature :: prefers temps of 50-90 degrees F; protect from frost
