Tillandsia streptophylla x brachycaulous (Eric Knobloch)

This hybrid air plant was created in New Orleans in the 1960's by a collector/grower named Eric Knobloch.  It will blush pink when exposed to direct light and when in bloom.  He can reach 12-15" in optimal growing conditions.

 

Light :: grows best in bright, indirect light; within 3 feet of a window if indoors

Water :: completely drench once a week; allow to dry upside down for 4 hours

Temperature :: prefers temps of 50-90 degrees F; protect from frost
